Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Digital Distribution group currently distributes transactional digital content in over 100 countries to major retail customers like iTunes, PlayStation Network, XBOX and many others. The Global Client Services team supports and enables this distribution through management of the Digital Supply Chain to ensure each and every piece of content, and every strategic initiative is executed accurately, on-time and with repeatable, scalable process. Reporting to the Director, and working closely with the Vice President, the Manager, Global Client Services will be responsible for day to day operations and servicing for several territories in the supply chain.

Additionally, the Manager will take on specific cross-territory and cross-functional responsibilities and processes, focusing on the ongoing task of driving this complex Supply Chain to meet the evolving needs of the growing Digital Distribution business.



The Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of commercial initiatives and day to day operations for assigned territories, owning the process end to end and managing each Account Territory through the SPHE digital processes and systems


The Manager works with the global team of Client Avails Managers , Worldwide Product Fulfillment and others to ensure that all ongoing digital asset deliveries happen on time and on schedule


As part of the day to day Client Avails Manager tasks for assigned territories, the Manager:


Partners with relevant Territory Digital Account Managers to ensure that each customer and territory is being managed in alignment with business needs


Ensures all Partners in his/her territories are correctly assigned to avails windows


Orders launch, backfill and promotional titles through avails process


Collaborates with multiple internal and external parties to handle any exceptions in and to ensure that all downstream workflows complete successfully.


Proactively manages SKU exceptions for assigned territories


The Manager will also be assigned specific cross-territory projects, programs or initiatives based on divisional needs, supply chain enhancements, and the Manager’s individual strengths and development plan


Throughout day to day process as well as ongoing initiatives, the Manager collaborates with multiple internal and external parties including


Digital Commercial Team (New business

and account management)


Customers (Business, Technical and Operational groups)


Client Services team, worldwide


Worldwide Programming


Worldwide Product Fulfillment






Any additional stakeholders and vendors as needed


The Manager contributes to the ongoing optimization of the digital supply chain, end to end, by working closely with all involved parties to continuously improve ongoing processes to ensure smooth supply chain planning and execution




3-5 years relevant experience (working at another studio, in a related supply chain role, or a relevant company)


Excellent communicator, high levels of diplomacy and written and spoken communication skills


Quantitative Analysis skills a plus, ex. data analysis, reporting


Comfort with complex systems, processes


Able to communicate to multiple stakeholders, from customers to technologist


Ability to learn on the fly


High level of attention to detail


Technical & operational knowledge of digital suppl

y chain (XML, Video encoding, workflow management systems) or analogous complex process
