We take pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers, and providing our employees the experience of a lifetime. being part of a multi-cultural, global community which is shaping the future of our organization and touches the lives of people all over the worldThe Manager of Engineering supervises engineering and maintenance program activities for the airline with responsibility for aircraft configuration management, aircraft maintenance inspection programs, preparation of technical data, and technical data accuracy.Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Engineering or 10 years related experience working in an engineering position with supervisory responsibility * Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate * 10 years Aerospace Engineering experience (747-400/777 Preferred) * Experience in repair design and installation * Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) governing aircraft certification and maintenance * Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong working knowledge in Microsoft software and in use of digital manuals to include "CAD" * Ability to travel internationally on short notice Southern Air is an equal opportunity employer.
