Responsible for the leadership and management of North America field marketing services (FMS) team. This position has primary responsible for developing and executing North America’s commercial support programs and events including sales demonstration hardware/software, samples, events (customer and internal) and competency directed at RA sales and channel. As a member of the NA regional marketing management team, the role actively participates in the development of the regions commercial strategies to drive sales and share growth.
Manage, supervise, and hire appropriate team members related to the successful implementation of competency, events, samples and demos.
Be the aggregated voice to the global competency function of North America’s competency strategy. Manage and drive the execution of competency plans for the region.
Lead the North America’s events strategy and prioritization of investments. Manage and support Rockwell Automation trade show and event planning, staffing, and coordination across the region.
Collaborate effectively across Rockwell Automation to establish consistent expectations for event creation, delivery, and support
Create functional teams for execution of events and competency across Rockwell Automation, sales, and channel partners.
Drives consistent productivity and efficiency improvements across competency & field events organization.
Drive region-wide productivity and efficiency relative to competency, events, and demonstration equipment program management.
Lead the NA capital (budget) prioritization and management process.
This position requires a 4-year degree, BS Engineering or BA Marketing preferred.
The position requires at least 7-10 years of sales and marketing experience.
Strong project and operational management skills. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to provide leadership to direct reports and influential leadership to others. Need to communicate and work with a variety of people not under direct control in a fast paced team environment.
Rockwell Automation sales and/or automation industry experience is a plus.
