We are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting, LATAM to join our Finance team based in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager utilizes accounting, business, and analytical skills to manage the financial reporting cycle for the Latin America Division. The incumbent will lead the budgeting, planning and forecasting processes within the Division as well as coordinate all reporting requirements by the Latin American entities to the Division and/or Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate the reporting cycle (monthly / semi-annual / annual) by the entities in the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Perform appropriate checks and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and norms as well as adherence to IFRS accounting principles.
Review deviation reports prepared by the entities and develop an understanding of deviations to subsequently report to Division management.
Review current and deferred tax reporting and ensure consistency.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations to management.
Manage the weekly cash flow forecasting process, reviewing projections for consistency with p&l forecasts / budgets, challenging the entities where appropriate.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Division, developing tools, training and implementing other best practices to ensure quality budgets/forecasts.
Prepare accounts receivable summary reports and review collection activities with the entities.
Liaise with Group colleagues regarding reporting requirements and/or inquiries including participation in select global working groups (SAP / reporting).
Identify reporting process improvements and implement best practices.
Assess, develop, validate and author reports and manuals pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
Conduct and support ad-hoc analyses on issues throughout Gate Gourmet as assigned.
Attend and participate in meetings that pertain to assigned responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required; Business, Economics, or Accounting majors required.
Accounting designation (CPA / CMA or other) a plus, including experience with IFRS reporting.
Work Experience :
Minimum of 7 years experience in financial reporting in a multinational organization.
Manufacturing, supply chain management, airline and/or airline catering experience preferred.
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and SAP FICO and Business Warehouse preferred.

Must possess strong financial and analytical skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner.
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate to management, staff, suppliers and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills.
Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required.
Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
Must be a self starter and motivated to complete projects timely and with accuracy
Must possess excellent people skills with a result driven approach
Communication Skills :
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Ability to communicate with all levels throughout the organization.
English and Spanish communication skills required including the ability to read and write in these languages.
Knowledge of Portuguese an asset.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations :
Estimated 15%-20% travel requirement.
