Manager in the decision science function to address a full range of situation assessment needs in:
(1) Global and US Promotional Resource Impact and Allocation
(2) Return on Investment (ROI) Analytics
(3) Global and US Segmentation Targeting and Call planning to support market field force initiatives
(4) Advanced tool development to support analytics
Duties to include:
Diagnostics for Sr. level approvals
Brand Marketing support to achieve targeted brand initiatives
Generation of optimized portfolio targets to meet brand and managed market opportunities
Design and creation of physician targets and portfolio call plans to support the B+L field forces.
Portfolio call plan generation and field force respond to target
Call plan implementation with Information Technology team
Use of advanced Statistics, contemporary data mining software
Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry and Contemporary approaches to resource optimization to drive business (e.g., Sizing and structure, promotion-response, product launch planning, etc) and diverse healthcare data sources
Specific Job Duties:
Provide “hands-on” expertise in the application of advanced contemporary approaches to resource optimization and allocation of resources to support the product portfolio. This includes the use of advanced software to implement advanced modeling exercises using econometric and statistical techniques to optimize promotional vehicles.
Conduct objective measures of promotional impact and ROI.
Conduct field sizing, structure and alignment initiatives to best optimize key investments in field resources.
Use contemporary data mining tools and techniques to generate targets and portfolio call plans for each national cycle.
Manage call plan implementation with IT and Field leadership (DM and RD) through call plan submission and respond-to-target

Minimum undergraduate degree in quantitative sciences (ie., Econometrics, Statistics, engineering or comparable). Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years business experience in analytics with 3 years experience in Pharmaceutical commercial analytics.
Particular experience in Return on Investment (ROI) modeling, physician targeting and call planning, field force optimization and call planning.
Demonstrated advanced use of SAS software required.
SQL & VBA knowledge a plus.
