Manager, Global Services Marketing

The Global Services Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver against goals that include effective upsell, cross sell marketing of services, education and support. This role will have global responsibility to drive pipeline targets with the regional teams by delivering content, messaging, and programs that can be leveraged by the regions.


Education and Experience Required:
College/University Degree, MBA preferred. Ideal candidate exhibits marketing and sales aligned business acumen, has 10+ years of marketing experience with global background as part of that. They will also have experience with marketing services, education and support offerings for software products. They should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ideally they would also have familiarity with marketing automation and salesforce.


Manage globally disperse team to drive common goals.

Set direction for the team, provide leadership and vision that align to the goals, establish metrics and regularly report to executive management on the status of those goals, including financial goals around pipeline and revenue.

Manage team performance and handle staffing and personnel gaps as the team grows.

Create regional alignment with field marketing counterparts to drive regional pipeline effectively.

Work with team to create content, offers, programs, messaging, and more to drive consistent global execution.

Leveraging automation tools like Eloqua and Saleforce, work with technical teams to establish best practices in how to use those tools to automate upsell and cross sell programs.

Build quarterly programs to drive pipeline across services, support and education- in every region- and manage against the allocated budget. This may include live event activities, like our semiannual HP events as well as regional and user group activities.


Knowledge and Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience with managing marketing programs that drive pipeline and sales results.

Experience working with regional teams across US, Latin America, EMEA and APAC.

Hands on experience in building marketing plans across all marketing disciplines, and managing budgets.

Strategic experience on how to use marketing and sales automation solutions.

Collaborative leader that works with others but drives to results.


Education and Experience Required:
Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred

10+ years marketing experience

Extensive experience with managing virtual teams

Prior experience in managing direct reports

Sales and/or channel experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Master-level knowledge of industry, offering categories, HP offerings/strategies, marketing principles/practices/tactics/tools

In-depth knowledge of advertising/direct marketing agency practices and procedures

Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, mentor individual contributors and/or lower-level managers

Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple high-visibility priorities in fast-paced environment.

Strong budget management skills; able to manage large, complex budgets

Excellent written/oral communications

Excellent analytical ability

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence direct reports and virtual teams

Excellent negotiating skills

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines, both within and outside HP

Excellent consensus-building and conflict resolution skills
