Responsible for conducting research and identifying and securing external grant funding sources and collaborating with grant directors to ensure grant compliance in support of the College's priorities and mission. Works with College staff and community members in preparing grant proposals and other resource development activities. Works with grant directors to oversee the compliance and reporting of grant-funded programs. Serves as a member/facilitator of the Grants Administration Committee. Collaborates with and provides support to grant directors in the negotiation of awards and grant modification requests. Researches institutional and funding program policies to ensure implemented grant funded activities and budgets are in compliance. Works efficiently and prioritizes tasks to manage a busy workload. This position is open until filled.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of eight years related experience with grant writing to federal and state agencies and federal grant pre and post award management, evaluation and compliance required.
Must have the ability to research information for problem solving.
Detail oriented, project management design and analysis skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, writing, grammar and editing skills, strong leadership skills, strong analytical skills, multitasking capabilities, strong time management skills are all required.
Required Computer Skills:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communication preferred.
