This new position is open due to Company’s growth. The Manager, Information Technology position reports to the Controller and will be an integral member of the Management team. The Manager, IT p rovides the vision and leadership for the information technology department. Identifies emerging information technologies to be evaluated and integrated into the Company’s IT infrastructure. The position manages and directs the utilization of the IT services department resources.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all information technology functions including computer systems, communication equipment, telephone system and related software support, design, implementation, and maintenance
Leads IT’s strategic planning process
Reports to management on information technology plans, projects, performance, and related matters
Responsible for the application of any necessary upgrades, hardware and/or software
Supports network users by responding to inquiries, questions, and issues involving software and/or hardware
Determines composition of IT staffing resources both external and internal
Manages and develops IT staff
Plans deployment of IT resources to ensure network infrastructure meets company’s needs and goals
Reviews and updates current policies and procedures documentation
Maintains appropriate disaster recovery procedures
Prepares annual capital and expense budgets for the department and supports the review of the Company’s entire annual IT capital expenditures plan
Oversees and supports the functionality, design, and operation of the company’s ERP system, PDM system and various engineering software products
Ensures compliance with the company’s IT security policy and procedures.

Maintains the quality of IT service by establishing and enforcing quality performance standards.

Job Requirements

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Requires 6 + years of experience in technology management
Experience with communications systems and voice technology required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects
Experience with ERP software systems is preferred
Experience with Microsoft network operating systems required
Project Management experience required
Experience with DOD IT security requirements is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server required
Experience in network administration, design, and management

MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND HAVE A CURRENT US SECURITY CLEARANCE OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN ONE.
