The purpose of this position is to contribute to developing the MedAssets' brand, executing promotional programs and supporting the Sales Team with lead generation initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of project plans and the execution of marketing programs including, but not limited to collateral development, marketing campaign and lead generation initiatives, tradeshow promotion, –sales materials and presentations, website content and other internal and external communications support.
Works collaboratively with creative resources to develop promotional and sales messaging concepts, copy and design
Coordinates marketing efforts relating to tradeshows and customer events
Effectively communicates and works with business segment to understand priorities in order to develop and implement tactical plans to deliver measureable results
Effectively communicates with Sales Team relating to marketing programs
Measures and reports results of marketing initiatives
Proactively acquires product and industry knowledge to enhance campaign positioning and work product accuracy and quality
Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or MBA; minimum of 3 + years B2B marketing experience.
Strong writing skills in conjunction with promotional copy and reports
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively to successful completion
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
Understands the concept of budgeting and the need to manage within a budget.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions furnished in various forms.
Ability to manage daily tasks and projects to conclusion. Clearly understands the priorities of the department and makes adjustments to tasks as appropriate.
Ability to work as an effective member of a large team from a variety of departments within the Company. Must utilize multiple forms of communication to achieve objectives of the position. Interacts often with members, vendors, and others from outside the Company. Frequently composes communication pieces that are sent outside the Company.
Ability to generate lists of potential customers through research.
Ability to identify an issue that requires compliance to an outside law or internal process.

Travel: Occasional travel to MedAssets meetings and events.
