Reporting to the Executive Director and supporting the entire Executive MBA and MS Career Management (CM) team, the Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding, in consultation with the Executive Director and CM team, CM multimedia content and strategy. The Manager will also collaborate with the Associate Director of the Career Management Library and Media Center on video content strategy for the Career Management Center website. He or she will work with a range of stakeholders including students, recruiters, and staff in capturing and producing content. Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to CM multimedia development strategy, including content idea generation, production planning, and execution of video, audio, and web based content. Collaborate with Associate Director of Career Management Library and Media Center to share best practices and ensure consistency with overall CMC multimedia production. Also work with Multimedia Group (MMG) and Information Technology Group (ITG) to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to multimedia resources. 2. Work with Executive Director and CM team to identify appropriate students, alumni, and recruiters for on-camera interviews. Communicate with these constituents prior to filming regarding best practices on camera and interview them when they are on campus. 3. Execute capture (video/audio) and editing of CM programming, including live workshops, events, webinars, and produced content segments. Organize and maintain content library and, in collaboration with CM team and CMC full-time advising team, help drive agenda for content selection and distribution to constituents. Support content capture and editing of full-time MBA content when available by collaborating with Associate Director of Career Management Library and Media Center. 4. Support content management for online (website) resource pages, including some content revision and technological troubleshooting. Coordinate with MMG and ITG to identify and resolve problematic issues and spot opportunities for improved technology management. 5. Recommend acquisition of appropriate multimedia hardware and software, in consultation with Executive Director, MMG, and ITG, including identification and selection of appropriate vendors for support services (webinar technology, teleconference, web analytics, etc.) 6. Liaise as appropriate with other School departments, including Marketing and Communications (Marcom), to identify and share best practices for multimedia resources and development. Identify potential collaboration opportunities, including the involvement of various CBS constituents (students, faculty, staff, alumni) in the production of relevant content.

Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required. Minimum 1-2 years related film/video production experience required.

Excellent film production (planning, capture, and editing) skills essential. Facility with multimedia production technology and software applications (Final Cut Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Connect.) Strong professional demeanor and tact with a customer service orientation. Must be able to manage difficult situations with firmness and diplomacy. Strong written and oral communication skills imperative. Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays as needed. Solid office skills including strong computing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) necessary.
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in filmmaking or media production preferred. MFA in film or digital media strongly preferred. Background and/or education in journalism or education technology helpful. Experience in higher education and corporate settings is desired.
