DESCRIPTION

Manager, National Sales (MNS) will work closely with various internal operational groups to expand existing customer relatioships, develop additional business, and prospect for new national accounts within an assigned terriority. The MNS is responsible to develop new national accounts clients within the England Logistics' network. This position develops customer relationships by serving as the interface between the customer and the operations teams. The MNS is responsible for working with customers to identify their needs and determine how England Logistics can deliver a valuable solution. The MNS candidiate will have a documented path of previous success in growing business-to-business sales revenue. In addition to exemplary selling skills, the candidate should demonstrate strong communications skills and excellent time management control. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage assigned territory independently, develop a pipeline of qualified prospects and engage in a consultative sales process with them.Targeted solicitation of large national accounts within an assigned terrioty. Understands Customers' business and solutions requirements.Develop and maintain a collaborative approach with England Logistics teammates, such as Marketing, Sales, Training, and Support.** Maintain aggressive goals and objectives for continued growth.** Target growth opportunities with current customers. ** Serve as centeralized point of contact for customers to address issues and to explore additional opportunities.Ability to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline reports and forecasts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSProven business-to-business relationship development skills required to create, maintain, and enhance prospective customer relationships. Energetic, flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated.High level of initiative and work well in a team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well. Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.Strong personal-business ethics.Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience as a consistent top performer, preferabaly in the transportation/logistics industry. Minimum of intermediate level computer skills (MS Office products) required.Able to travel up to 50%, may vary based on location.Demonstrated earnings history. Bachelor's degree required
