Planning, implementation, setup and operation of all information and production systems for the NBC Sports Group.
Manage IT professionals in configuration, deployment, support and maintenance of these systems at all Olympics venues and locations.
Manage development of on-air Results/Timing and Scoring interface and coordinate test event participation with host broadcaster and organizing committee(s).
Identify and implement new technology initiatives that result in qualitative, operational and financial opportunities.
Work closely with Olympic Broadcast Engineering and NBC Digital to facilitate convergence of broadcast and IT technologies.
Assist Department Vice President with planning and development of Avid iNews implementation and media asset management initiatives.
Ensure coordination of NBC Sports Group IT strategies and technology implementation with all NBC Sports Group properties.
Candidate must possess strong analytical and time management skills that result in the successful and timely completion of multiple tasks.
Candidate should be well versed in emerging technologies with an emphasis on web based solutions.
Excellent knowledge of network infrastructure systems and sub-systems (i.e. routers, switches) is desired.
Demonstrated experience with Windows 7/8, MS-SQL, IIS and Exchange Email systems is also required.
Excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to manage large projects requiring coordination with external hardware, software and communication vendors, as well as related NBC staff.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience preferred.

Flexibility in schedule to meet changing Olympics production demands.
Some travel will be required.
