Oversees and ensures the success of the leadership and employee development programs, including organizational design and structure, performance evaluation process, succession planning and employee engagement solutions Works collaboratively with senior leadership to support succession planning activities, conduct talent reviews and create appropriate follow up development activities Provides oversight and support for the use of assessment processes throughout the organization Provides internal consulting services to improve departmental and organization business effectiveness Collaborates with the training team to identify strategic learning and development programs, processes, and systems to enhance the capabilities of all Graybar employees Facilitates and ensures the continuous improvement of multiple leadership development programs Manages the execution and strategic direction of Graybar’s employee recognition programs Effectively meets individual project management goals to meet established department goals SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education : Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Business, Organization Development, or Human Resources
Experience : Minimum 3-5 years work experience in Organization and Leadership Development; Significant experience in consulting to or working in complex organizations
Knowledge : Outstanding communication and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations and lead meetings with all levels of employees; Knowledge of HR best practices related to learning and development, performance and talent management; Knowledge of selection and assessment tools, ability to work with managers to develop effective follow up development strategies; Strong research, solution design, and project management skills; Demonstrated excellent customer service mentality; must display tact and diplomacy in difficult or sensitive situations, as well demonstrated change management skills; Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to travel approximately 10-25%
