Organizational Effectiveness Manager (Part Time)
This role will be 25 hours per week.
The primary objective of this position is to work with the HR function supporting organizational effectiveness initiatives, culture and change practices, and other key programs. In this role, the incumbent will support the business’ focus on optimum employee, organizational and business performance as a means of delivering the immediate and future growth targets of the IP & Science business. The successful individual will impart both creative and traditional methods to gather a fact base, which will serve to inform key business initiatives managed by the HR Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness team. Project management, process evaluation and analysis support for transformational business priorities are essential components of this role. This position will also provide innovative solutions and, on occasion, consultancy services that help deliver best practice and commercially focused recommendations in support of business challenges. This role reports to the VP of Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness and works collaboratively with the entire human resources function.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Analyst/Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years combined experience in Organization Development/Effectiveness and Human Resources in complex organizations. Key areas of accountability include:
Supporting (through the use of data and analysis) strategic organizational change and transformation initiatives in such areas as Customer Experience, Sales Optimization, Employee Engagement and Culture, and/or Span of Influence
Demonstrating up-to-date knowledge of Global Organizational Effectiveness and applying concepts and industry leading practices to the development, execution, and improvement of defined Organizational Effectiveness projects
Development of detailed project plans to include the use of common project management tools and techniques for scoping and managing programs and initiatives, as well as communicating progress and resolving problems along the project lifecycle
Accurately analyzing and interpreting information for multiple projects from diverse sources and tracking and measuring the effectiveness of defined initiatives
Conducting culture assessments, building internal/external stakeholder maps, workflow analysis, identifying bottlenecks and helping to build solutions to obstacles related to effectiveness and growth ensuring impactful recommendations designed to deliver immediate benefits to the business
Supporting organization design/development efforts to ensure critical alignment of strategy, structure, systems, skills and shared values
Periodically leading small projects and workstreams made up of cross-functional teams, helping to identify high potential opportunities to increase business performance, and then support delivery
Evaluating, developing and implementing ways of driving efficiency and cost reduction via strategic change initiatives
Supporting the Employee Engagement agenda and efforts towards defining/driving a high performance culture across IP&S
Development of standardized tools and processes for managing strategic deal transactions in support of the wider HR

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Progressive experience in large, global, and dynamic professional business environments including time spent in HR generalist or employee relations roles
Exemplary project management skills, including project scoping, stakeholder identification, and developing project plans and milestones.
Project Management Certification highly desired.
Strong reporting experience and use of metrics/analytics to draw accurate conclusions and frame recommendations
Sound consulting skills, including the capability to quickly identify and develop improvement opportunities
Strong results drive and prioritization skills with the ability to hold oneself to high delivery standards whether working independently or collaboratively with others
Ability effectively collaborate across the organization to maximize outcomes
Strong business acumen; ability to grasp how Organizational Effectives objectives align to the business strategy
Sound presentation skills/capable of communicating effectively and in an influential manner
Demonstrated success in the delivery of programs aligned with business strategy and transformation
Ability to offer creative/innovative solutions while maintaining flexibility and resilience
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and leading HR systems
M&A due diligence and integration experience desirable
Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for I-O Psychology, Human Resources, Leadership Development, or a related field
Advanced Degree in Business , Organizational Effectiveness or a related discipline highly preferred
