Performance Improvement – Commercial Practice MorganFranklin’s dynamic Performance Improvement Commercial Practice based in Tysons Corner, VA has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Commercial clients in the areas of finance transformation, performance management and reporting, finance and operations process and organization design, and shared services.

JOB SUMMARY: The Performance Improvement Manager will be responsible for the expert delivery of business process and performance management engagements, working with finance leadership of commercial companies. This position will take on a team lead/manager role within the Performance Improvement Practice supporting the management and execution of finance transformation projects as well as supporting large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large clients across several key industries. Project roles will include analyzing our client's current enterprise processes, performance indicators, and best practices in order to determine the optimal business processes, driving value through the CFO organization. The candidate must have demonstrated success with implementation of the following strategic methods: business process re-engineering (BPR), process improvement, business case development, ROI calculations, quality and process frameworks, organizational design, performance measurement frameworks, and project management.

JOB DUTIES: *Work with different groups within the organization (accounting, finance, operations, etc) and process teams *Perform project management activities *Communicate with process stakeholders and customers at senior executive levels *Mentor and develop team members within the Performance Improvement practice *Conduct operational assessments *Define, develop, and manage process improvement implementations *Perform project management activities *Design enterprise processes *Develop thought leadership materials *Participate in business development activities REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: *Finance Transformation *Financial Close and Consolidation *Streamlining reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes *Centers of Excellence or Shared Service Center Implementation *Performance measurement system (scorecard) design and implementation *Experience with optimizing finance operations, such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Treasury functions *Chart of Accounts redesign *Post merger acquisitions *Business process improvement methodologies (BPR, Six Sigma/Lean) Additionally, candidates should possess the following traits: *Collaborative team building skills *Excellent listening skills *High integrity, follow through and detailed orientation *Ability to build trust and quickly establish credibility with all levels of an organization *Ability to work independently *Flexible style and approach *Strong organizational skills *Outstanding written and presentation skills EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: *Requires a Bachelors degree, MBA preferred *Six Sigma, PMP desirable EXPERIENCE: *5-8 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organizations of commercial clients, with at least 4 at a large professional services firm Equal Opportunity Employer MorganFranklin is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer and will not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, veteran status, physical impairment, political affiliation, marital status, disability, or on any other basis prohibited by law.
