This newly-created position of Manager, Data Analysis, Web Analytics, and Business Planning for ACX provides an expansive opportunity for a curious, passionate Business/Finance savvy data wrangler with sharp analytical skills. This role leverages multiple internal and external data sources to identify trends and to inform and drive business decisions around ACX, Audible’s audiobook rights marketplace and production platform, including ACX’s customer acquisition, ACX marketing, new features to drive and improve usership. This position will critically impact many of the most important growth areas of this exciting, fast-growing company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of, Inc.

· Quickly and efficiently mine and analyze multiple large data sources to provide insights that impact key business decisions
· Implement best-in-class web analytic strategies that corresponds to the online customer experience on ACX
· Apply Business/Finance expertise to assess data to identify trends and present actionable findings to business owners in a clear and persuasive manner
· Develop algorithms to pinpoint which books ACX should strive to turn into audiobooks
· Establish and refine a variety of metrics dashboards to assist executives in analyzing data, forecasting, and planning
· Manage multiple analytic projects under tight time constraints, proactively managing projects to ensure identification and mitigation of risks and blocking tasks
· Actively participate in broader reporting/analytics initiatives to raise the bar on data and tools available to ACX and other business owners
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the online web analytic space, preferably an online marketplace or in an relevant industry
· 2+ years demonstrated experience applying core Business/Finance concepts to interpret/analyze data and generate business recommendations
· Expert SQL query-development skills, combined with expert execution of queries via SQL Developer, to build sustainable and sharable data-harvesting procedures
· Hands-on experience mining external business segment data sources (e.g. Nielsen BookScan , Bowker, AAP, and APA)
· Hands-on experience mining website analytics, and advising executives on lessons in the data
· Hands-on experience with data from Adobe Site Catalyst , Test & Target, or other site metrics tools
· Experience with fixed- and variable-cost inventory models
· Hands-on experience with challenges of working with large datasets (10M+ records) and knowledgeable management of query performance and set math concepts
· Expert Excel skills and experience using advanced features and functions to organize data to build sustainable analytical frameworks and predictive models; VBA knowledge a plus, but not required
· Strong verbal communication and presentation skills to convey crisp summaries, insights, and recommendations
· Strong work ethic and driven commitment to delivering promised work products on time
· Ability to work in cross-functional and inter-departmental teams across all levels
· Passion for data and all it can reveal
· Bachelor’s degree required; Applicable areas of study include Marketing, Finance, Statistics, and Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of other business intelligence tools, including SQL Reporting Services, OBIEE and Hyperion, a plus
· MBA a plus
