Primary Duties and Responsibilities:|
Manages the Recruiting function for all positions within The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG), including Physicians, Mid-Level Providers and Professional Administrative staff. Implements strategies, processes and systems to ensure the hiring of quality applicants in a timely, proactive, cost effective manner. Ensures compliance and timely reporting of hiring functions in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Collaborates with colleagues from TSPMG Human Resource functions and Professional Development as well as Senior Leadership, Finance, and KP-IT to ensure that professional recruiting and retention function meets the needs of TSPMG and the organization. Responsible for oversight and day to day management of recruitment activities, Shared Success program activities, and other retention strategies as well as management of recruitment and retention staff. Monitors and reports retention issues and works with senior leadership, Professional Development and HR to create improvement strategies. Participates in the actual recruiting of physicians and other professional personnel as needed in order to meet organizational goals. Participates in TSPMG projects and programs as appropriate.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
BS or BA in marketing, business or related field
6 or more years experience in physician or professional recruitment
5 or more years in management
Demonstrated organizational skills and problem solving skills
In depth knowledge of Human Resources, physician recruitment or health care industry
Preferred Education and Experience:
MBA or MSA in health care administration
5 or more years in management in a recruiting environment
Marketing or sales experience
Experience with training and development of staff
Experience with employee mentor programs
