Job Family Summary

Engineering Program/Project Management is responsible for managing the execution of programs and/or projects consisting of single or multiple projects and/or programs. May manage project and/or program managers within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Accountabilities

Bring a broadened business perspective to each project through an understanding of the inner-workings of Marketing, Quality and/or Operations.
Managing and coordinating the activities of a multi-disciplined project from concept to production, with a focus on the Company's Medical Supply delivery systems. Plan, develop, coordinate and direct engineers and other cross-functional team members to achieve project objectives.
Create and maintain schedules that predict and meet milestones to track progress.
Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine program progress toward stated goals and objectives. Perform Risk Analyses: identify cost, ROI, manpower, overrun, margins, and scope-creep.
Ensure that engineering disciplines are followed to ensure design output meets design input, and are successfully transferred to manufacturing products.
Confer with Senior Management to review progress and discuss required changes in objectives resulting from current status and conditions

Job Family Summary

Engineering Program/Project Management is responsible for managing the execution of programs and/or projects consisting of single or multiple projects and/or programs. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, SW/IT, or related field required. Advanced degree in related field or business preferred.
A minimum of 5 years related work experience required.
Demonstrated success in large Project/Program Management role including Development and Deployment in enterprise SW environment, preferably healthcare IT, or closely related, is a plus.
Global product development and/or team management experience preferred.
Experience with information technology systems, specifically connectivity HW, SW, and systems technology required.
Hand’s on knowledge of C#, Java, .net, hosted web solutions is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
Experience with short release cycles.
Able to drive change in large organizations.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Project management experience of existing products, support, and new product development.
Experience working in a highly government-regulated environment (FDA, FAA, DoD)
May include travel (up to 20%)
