The Fire Station is an in-house ‘full service’ agency
supporting all Roll Global LLC businesses (this
includes: FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Paramount Farms,
Paramount Citrus & Teleflora). The Fire Station operates
as a separate business unit within the organization, and
is currently staffed with public relations, advertising
and design professionals. Fire Station’s goal is to
elevate the quality of creativity and execution to
compete against the nation’s premier advertising
agencies while offering an environment that is far more
entrepreneurial and fast paced than a traditional

This $3 billion privately held company owns a variety of
“good for you” products – from agriculture to consumer
packaged goods. These commodities and brands need a
brand/food marketing PR pro to lead and develop programs
to reach a broad array of media categories including
broadcast, print, online, bloggers, trade and consumers.
Roll’s PR teams work closely with marketing, advertising
and sales to deliver integrated campaigns and
cross-function success. This person needs to be a
seasoned PR professional with the ability to manage
multiple projects from multiple internal “clients”
simultaneously and with a smile. The focus for this
position will be on POM Wonderful’s family of juices and
fresh produce and the incredible PR stories that this

  • Responsible for creating integrated, compelling,
newsworthy campaigns
  • Responsible for managing budgets, vendors and
timelines
  • Will create, lead and work with the team to execute
programs expected to reach a wide range of media
categories & consumers
  • Write press materials, create collateral, put
together key messaging, etc.
  • Develop creative PR activations that generate social
media buzz and engagement
  • Pitch national and regional media (consumer,
enthusiast, business and trade)
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and provide
counsel with strategic senior support
  • Manage a lean and mean team and mentor junior staff
while working hand-in-hand with Marketing leadership
for the brand
  • Develop robust and integrated media strategies
targeting variety of consumer and trade media (food,
consumer, lifestyle, entertainment)
  • Understanding of social media and how to seamlessly
incorporate it into overall communications mix
  • Cultivate internal and external relationships as it
relates to advertising campaigns & media relations

Job Requirements:
  • Candidates will need to provide writing samples
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, PR or
Communications is required.
  • 7-9 years of PR experience; a mix of in-house and
agency experience in the food & beverage industry
preferred
  • Strong media relations experience creating and
pitching story ideas and working with influential
journalists
  • Proven track record of driving brand awareness
through communications and working on multiple
projects and campaigns simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills are required
  • The ability to work well with limited supervision
and under deadline
  • Integrity and accountability are a must
