SALARY RANGE: $61,496 - $98,745


The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Manager, Real Estate Services Group to work in the Office of Real Estate. This position will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities related to property disposition including the identification, clearance, marketing and disposition of property (residential and commercial) owned by MDOT; review Board of Public Works real property items involving research and preparation of documents; project management involving major real estate transactions and reporting. This vacancy is located at The Secretary's Office (MDOT Headquarters) in Hanover, MD located in Anne Arundel County.


EDUCATION: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a preference for coursework in real estate, business administration, planning, finance, or public administration.

EXPERIENCE: Six years of responsible professional program management experience related to real estate development, finance, property management, or planning. Two years of this experience must have involved exercising direct responsibility for program or project implementation.

NOTES: Additional experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education. Additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required general experience at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for one year of the required general experience.
