Responsible for performing moderate to highly complex research, quantitative analysis, modeling and monitoring of risk related programs. This includes providing management with strong analysis, logical findings, clear opinions, and mentoring of other team members. The incumbent is also responsible for partnering with business lines and driving development and execution of strategy.
  • Conduct analytical projects including design, data collection, analysis, recommendations and socialization of these results with senior management to drive actions across the organization
  • Apply multivariate statistical analysis techniques to consumer loan portfolios; includes other quantitative analysis (logistic and linear regression, cluster analysis, etc.)
  • Develop and manage statistical models for consumer loan portfolios – new account, portfolio acquisitions, and account management
  • Develop recommendations for credit policy – acquisitions and account management
  • Develop strategies to optimize decisions across multiple functional areas including underwriting, account management and collections
  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to improve efficiencies in operations (customer service, collections, etc.)
  • Develop and monitor performance analysis reports/ score cards for credit portfolios
  • Establish and foster business relationships with both internal groups and external contacts
  • Partner with internal groups to develop business strategy and drive execution (credit card programs, product tests, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Hire, develop and manage analysts
  • Three years of related work experience in a financial services or consulting environment
  • Three years experience developing financial and statistical models; application of multivariate statistical analysis; regression and cluster analysis
  • Three years experience in developing and maintaining business or financial reporting
  • Proven track record of innovation and leadership
  • Strong ability to think analytical and strategically
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
