Currently, Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Manager, Search & Analytics. The Manager, Search & Analytics has direct responsibility for developing and managing onsite search, SEO and analytic efforts for all PNA websites, and direct oversight for all PNA analytic systems and toolsets.

  • Provide executive level reporting on key performance metrics (keywords and traffic).
  • Coordinate with Lead Business Partners to establish pre-project traffic benchmarks, then defining the appropriate engagement strategy to make those estimates.
  • Define departmental initiatives to maximize site traffic for internal client websites and provide strategic traffic analysis for site enhancements with Production PM.
  • Identify proper landing pages, research/ develop keywords and create titles and descriptions, based upon traffic analysis.

Internal Search
  • Manage all internal site search functionality including recommendations for improved content indexing by leveraging Endecca and Omniture SiteSearch software packages.
  • Implement faceted navigation, keyword redirects and thesaurus entries, based upon internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Schedule and execute internal search site crawlers to ensure up-to-date search results.
  • Provide reporting on search

  • Translating the Stakeholder business goals and objectives into overall search strategies and then executing on those SEO Initiatives
  • Keyword analysis and selection
  • Site side analysis and recommendations
  • Defining program scope and management of implementation
  • Define key success metrics for interactive efforts and forecast anticipated business results from search initiatives with ecommerce team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the sourcing of all traffic through SEO, email blasts, banner, partnerships and other syndication initiatives with business stakeholders.
  • Utilize industry software to monitor clients' search engine rankings, and perform keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Tools, WordTracker, KeywordDiscovery or similar.
  • Provide audit of clients' website architecture to ensure the site is properly constructed to maximize search engine visibility.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required
  • 4 - 6 years experience required with Coremetrics and Omniture traffic reporting tools
  • Experience in natural search engine listings and search algorithms
  • Search engine marketing experience (either in-house or with an agency), including Development of SEO and paid search strategies across the major search engines
  • Demonstrated results increasing site rankings and search traffic
  • Understanding of internet and web development technologies: HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, Flash
  • Experience driving SEO/SEM initiatives through enterprise level CMS software packages
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate various sources of data into actionable initiatives
  • Deep understanding of internal search software packages - Endecca and Omniture SiteSearch
  • Knowledge of the search engine marketing industry trends, paid search programs such as Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter, and changes in algorithmic search industry
  • Ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing, and translate complex subjects into layman's terms to executive level Business Stakeholders
  • Excellent management skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage reports through positive means
  • Empathetic, prioritize needs of self, others and organization
