Job Description:

NetCentrics is looking for an experienced Manager, Security Services to support our DOD contract, working on-site in Arlington, VA. This position is open only to candidates with an active DOD security clearance.

The Manager, Security serves as the process owner for all ongoing activities related to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the customer business information, as managed by the Information Technology (IT) support contractor, in compliance with the Agency’s information security policies and procedures. Specific duties include:
  • Manage IT Security implementation across entire contract to include implementation of the customer information security policies and procedures
  • Provide direct information security training to all employees, contractors, and consultants; Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to foster information security awareness within the organization
  • Monitor compliance with the organization’s information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, consultants and refers problems to appropriate department managers or administrators
  • Monitor internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained
  • Perform information security risk assessments and serves as the internal auditor for information security processes
  • Review and participate in internal vulnerability assessments and audits IT resources for DoD Compliance and Security Best Practices (Blue Teams)
  • Serve as security liaison for Disaster Recovery Board and Risk Management Board; member of Configuration Control Board Working Group (CCBWG)
  • Serve as the information systems security liaison for the customer IAM, IAO and Security & Intelligence Directorate (SID)
  • Monitor advancements in information security technologies
  • Manage Certification & Accreditation (C&A) program
  • Review all system-related information security plans throughout the organization’s network
  • Lead contract Security Incident/Crisis Action Team (CAT) Response
  • Ensure preparedness for unauthorized intrusions
  • Lead program response for unauthorized intrusion
  • Manage contract information security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affect information security
  • Manage DoD compliance program to include Operational Directive Memorandums (ODMs), JTF-GNO Warning Orders (WANWORDs) and Communications Tasking Orders (CTOs), Directives and Guidelines

  • Experience managing IT Security implementation within the DOD environment
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience with enterprise network architecture, unified messaging, management systems, lifecycle management, data warehouse, information security, and disaster recovery with an understanding of future trends; ability to drive innovation and improvements in technology standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all staff and government customer levels
  • This position is open only to candidates with an active DOD security clearance
