The National Aquarium is looking for a Manager of Staff Training to develop, implement, coordinate, track and evaluate guest focused staff training. These training programs will ensure all front line staff and volunteers are focused on the sharing the Aquarium’s mission and creating excellent visitor experiences. This position works closely with hiring managers to understand the training needs of our diverse staff, determine which method to use such as individual training, group training, mentoring and computer based training and select and develop training resources such as manuals, books and computer tutorials.
Requirements of this job include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering professional development programs. Staff training in an informal learning environment preferred and certification in interpretive skills a plus.
