The Role:
We are looking for a Manager of Strategy & Analytics.
The person will be responsible for helping drive the
long-term strategy of the company. This includes
analyzing the company’s markets from a long term
perspective, assessing high-impact initiatives that
contribute to that strategy and also to help
implementing such initiatives. This person is highly
analytical, can view the business from a number of
different levels, can interact effectively with all
levels of management including C-level executives within
the organization, and work with stakeholders to identify
and implement new opportunities to grow the business.
The Manager will report to the SVP of Strategy &
Analytics who reports directly to the President of
Ticketmaster.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assess new market opportunities and strategic
initiatives
  • Analyze company data to provide product development &
strategic recommendations specifically around
Ticketmaster's newest fan-focused product: TM+
  • Develop recommendations with and communicate results
of analysis to senior management
  • Identify and assess potential partnerships and
acquisition targets
  • Execute potential partnership deals and acquisitions
  • Work closely with internal / external clientele to
drive competitive analysis
  • Distill data and key metrics into insights that will
help shape the future of the company
  • Perform internal, ad-hoc analysis of key strategic
initiatives which cross multiple departments (e.g.
marketing deals, partnerships, etc)
  • Optimize ticket pricing and fee structure including
evaluation of dynamic pricing scenarios
  • Partner with other analysts and business partners to
create the reports and tools necessary to provide
clients with data that support their partnership with
Live Nation
  • Assess and drive long-term strategic initiatives for
expanding Live Nation’s digital assets and the CRM
database

Job Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of post-MBA experience at a top-tier
strategy consulting firm.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives and
management
  • Ability to solve problems by gathering information,
discuss options and make recommendations
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and
charts) and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management, communication and
leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all
levels internally, externally and cross-functionally)
  • Prior experience in managing teams
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with a desire to
understand every aspect of the business
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Experience with eCommerceor the Entertainment
Industryis a plus, but not required
  • Experienced Leader - Track record of serving as a
leader with 5+ years of work experience. Demonstrated
strength in planning, organizing and project management
skills to meet deadlines. Ability to build and manage
effective teams, mentoring and developing top talent.
Possesses the capability to lead and prioritize multiple
and diverse work streams simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial and Analytical- Function autonomously,
he/she is a self-directed and self-motivated, dynamic,
decisive and confident practitioner with strong
analytical skills. Possessing high intellect, this
leader exhibits a strong drive for results to achieve
outcomes that exceed expectations
