CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Manager is responsible for the overall strategy development, implementation and leadership of the MWV SRM program. The role will support the MWV Supply Chain in maximizing value through collaboration with the business units and supply base. Responsibilities include partnering with strategic sourcing, operations, R&D and suppliers to develop strategies and tools to drive value creation. The SRM Manager is expected develop and implement the SRM strategy for MWV, build relationships, lead projects and develop best practices.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
Lead SRM teams in developing internal and external relationships to increase collaboration, drive costs out of the supply chain and leverage innovation capabilities of strategic suppliers
Partner with Open Innovation and R&D to build partnerships to achieve MWV Innovation and Growth goals
Facilitate workshops, brainstorming and management meetings on SRM
Demonstrate ability to understand and evaluate alternatives and successfully manage through the change-management process
Introduce creative thinking and problem resolution
Improve current processes, develop standardized processes, tools, communications across MWV
Identify and establish strong business relationships with stakeholders and business owners impacted or involved
Benchmark current processes across industries; identify and implement improvements
Provide superior and proactive customer service to internal customers
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum 5 years experience in sourcing, purchasing, operations, marketing, R&D or sales
Organizational agility with a proven ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization
Analytical and financial analysis techniques to drive decision making
Ability to understand, develop and document complex processes
Supplier management experience preferred
Proven category / market analysis skills
Ability to process map and identify best practices
Creative thought process and ability to influence others
Supply Chain Degree, SCOR, ISM, or APICS certification a plus
Ability to travel domestically and internationally - 15-25 % of your time
BS/BA
MBA preferred
