The Manager of TVD Finance is responsible for overall management and operational support of the consolidated finance/accounting system for domestic & international Television Distribution (TVD) responsible for $3B revenue annually. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with key Finance and Accounting leaders to plan & prioritize deliverables for the year according to business needs and future roadmap
  • Providing regular updates to business leadership on operational issues, service levels, and project status
  • Managing a team of developers (onshore/offshore), analysts, and QA resources to ensure key deliverable are being addressed according to business priorities in a timely manner
  • Overall responsibility around release planning, case management, and day-to-day support
  • Triaging critical system/process issues during time sensitive periods (quarter close), overseeing detail troubleshooting and driving resolution
  • Proposing & establishing SOPs to steam-line case resolution, reduce defect, and ensure proper documentation
  • Maintaining strong business engagement & outstanding customer service to key users through qualitative and quantitate performance measurements
  • Driving coordination with upstream/downstream application owner/business to ensure accuracy of the data and stability of the interfaces
  • Ensuring full SOX, disaster recovery and IT security compliance

  • Qualifications/Requirements
  • BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Informational technology or related fields
  • Minimum of 7 years working on large scale mission critical systems
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing a team of developers
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in working directly with Accounting & Finance professionals
  • Solid knowledge of accounting & finance principals
  • Solid leadership skills
