NMHG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the Marketing team. As a Manager, Business Intelligence , you will have the opportunity to lead business intelligence efforts for the organization through three primary areas of focus: Market Analysis, Market Reporting, and Demand Management. The Market Analysis area will lead competitor, economic, and business trend definition and analysis. This team will proactively mine the market for competitive data and distribute to stakeholders. The Marketing Reporting area will manage external reporting requirements with the Industrial Truck Association in an accurate and timely manner. This area will also engage the ITA through a place on the statistics committee and represent the Company professionally and with integrity. This area will be responsible for enhancing the reporting capability and quality of internal reporting. The Demand Management area will focus on the deployment of SteelWedge as an internal tool to significantly enhance the quality of NMHG's Brand and Channel forecasts. The incumbent will lead the planning and execution of the Sales & Operations Planning meetings monthly to secure agreement for Senior leadership on projected sales volumes by Brand/Channel/Product and communicate that information in a timely manner to the manufacturing facilities. Ensure information from monthly demand forecast is properly reported by brand/channel/product to key user groups. This will be used in the monthly S&OP, yearly AOP, and long term LRFF assumptions. Expand reportable data sets as needed to meet business needs that enhance S&OP, AOP and LRFF processes and achievement Responsible for driving best practice initiatives for internal and external market intelligence reporting. Internal stakeholders expect enhanced capability through use of technology. External stakeholder (ITA) expects timely and accurate information. Ensure intelligence is collected per corporate compliance guidelines. Competitor intelligence reporting on a regular basis through development of key KPI's, assessment activities and position. Oversee interaction of functional areas in department to ensure timely and accurate transfer of information for use by the business. BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred. 7 years relevant experience, preference for 3 years in a management role. Location information:
