This position is responsible for selling products, increasing market share, to ensure the profitability of the division. To supply and support key customer personnel with pertinent category analysis, consumer insights and market information while establishing and maintaining a favorable relationships with the key customer that benefits Tyson Foods. This requires tracking competitive activity and selling strategically against competitors, setting prices and approving price deviations and invoice deductions, and maintaining customer contact to promote good relations, handle complaints, concerns, questions, etc. Other responsibilities include initiating and coordinating research and development projects for customers, managing weekly promotional activities and the investment of Tyson funds, and evaluating selling opportunities and coordinating production capabi lities with plants and the production scheduling department. Other duties include creating and implementing marketing programs including advertising projects and promotional literature, creating innovative solutions to daily problems involving distribution trouble, production delays, and schedule changes, and performing otherresponsibilities as the need arises.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience: 6+ years experience. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Travel: 12 or more trips per year. Position-Specific Requirements This position will be located in the eastern region.
