ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Forecasts. Develop current year and multi-year Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts. Communicate forecast details to senior management.
•Budgets. Partner with business unit leadership to develop Budgets and Annual Operating Plans. Prepare presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors communicating the details of the Budget / Operating Plan.
•SG&A. Lead the SG&A budgeting, forecasting and reporting process. Identify, analyze, and effectively communicate SG&A variances to Budget.
•Board of Directors Presentations. Develop elements of the quarterly presentation to the Board of Directors.
•Capital Spending. Assist in the Budgeting and Forecasting of capital project spending across all lines of business
•Business Intelligence. Assist the Director, FP&A in the development of a company-wide Business Intelligence Strategy.
•Planning and Communication. Develop detailed timing plans for FP&A activities; develop and publish annual financial planning calendars that highlight key activities and projects for the upcoming year.
•Best Practices. Deliver improvements to company FP&A processes through the implementation of corporate finance best-practice.
•Ad-hoc Analysis. Perform ad hoc analysis, as required.
•Bachelor’s in Finance, Master’s preferred
•7-10 plus years combined experience in financial planning, analysis, forecasting and related finance fields
•Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others
•Detailed knowledge of Financial Statements – thorough understanding of the relationship between income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows as applied by GAAP
•Ability to work independently in a fast paced changing environment and deliver accurate results under time constraints; recognize importance of meeting timelines and willing to take on additional work
•Ability to manage multiple projects and research complex issues when required
•Adept at Financial modeling
•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and professional attitude
•Hyperion Financial Planning and Essbase knowledge a major plus
