The successful Candidate will be responsible for leading Raytheon's pursuit of a Multi Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract opportunity supporting US SOCOM in the conduct of its worldwide mission. The Capture Manager is accountable to the Vice President Warfighter Support Services for all activities related to the assigned capture, from pursuit initiation through contract award.

The Capture Manager is responsible for developing and implementing specific pursuit strategies to win a seat for this Multi-Award ID/IQ. These strategies include; teaming, solution (technical, management, and cost) development, proposal staffing/development, Deal and Price to Win analysis and Color Review Team leadership. The Capture Manager leads the development, implementation, and successful execution of these winning capture strategies, supporting the business case to keep the opportunity qualified. The Candidate will have proven experience with the development of: the competitive assessment, pursuit- budget, capture P-win rate, and providing continuous oversight of the pursuit utilizing Raytheon's best practices through proposal execution. The Capture Manager collects and accurately/objectively presents the pursuit business case at routine management reviews to facilitate decisions by Business Unit Senior Management. The Capture Manager will be familiar with building a pursuit team with functional organizations, product line staff, other businesses within Raytheon, as well as teammates.

The Candidate will conduct frequent customer contact to build trusted relationships, maintain status of the pursuit understand evolving customer fiscal and political environmental factors, and ensure the customer's concerns are well understood and conveyed to the pursuit team.

Some domestic travel is expected up to 35% of a typical year. This position could be located in Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL.

Required Skills:

  • Leadership of Pursuit/Capture teams in pursuit of $50 million or greater with a proven record of success.

  • Proven track record in Acquisition within the defense industry, with 10+ years of progressive work experience.

  • Direct experience working with the Special Operations Community.

  • Working knowledge of requirements, performance specifications, and risk management.

  • Advanced understanding of the government procurement, fiscal, and regulatory environment.

  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to build teams, influence positive results in a matrix environment.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Clearance: Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. Must have an active secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree in a field highly relevant to this position (Engineering, Management, Business, or International Affairs). Master's Degree preferred.

    Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
    Masters degree in business administration, project planning, systems engineering, operations research, strategic planning or other related field.
    Previous experience as a Program Manager highly desired.
