The Manager, Media will support the Sr. Manager of Media and Director of Media with off-network media planning and day-to-day department operations.
Media Planning :
. Assist in the development and stewardship of all consumer media plans to drive tune-in to Showtime's scripted programming.
. Manage day-to-day planning and buying process for all cooperative distributor media plans.
. Guide the media planning and buying process for digital acquisition and serve as the daily point of contact for the digital acquisition team within the Distributor Marketing Dept.
. Coordinate and manage the day-to-day planning and buying process for Smithsonian Channel
Media Budget/Billing :
. Manage media and billing authorization process
. Assist the Sr. Media Manager and Media Director with managing all financial documents related to advertising spend
. Act as liaison between media dept and finance
To qualify, you must have:
. At least 3 years of media agency and/or TV network experience (digital planning and/or buying experience preferred)
. solid knowledge of the media planning process including a basic understanding of all mediums (TV, print, radio, outdoor and online)
. strong, clear communication and writing skills, comfort with presenting media strategies and plans to executives across al levels
. passion for the entertainment space and enthusiasm for Showtime's programming
. strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others inside and outside dept.
. excellent attention to detail with eye for accuracy
. proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
