Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC), is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Orange Regional is licensed for 383 beds and employs over 2,500 healthcare professionals including over 600 doctors. Orange Regional Medical Center has consolidated two existing campuses onto a single site in Middletown, New York. This completed facility is the first new freestanding hospital built in the State of New York since 1989 and is the largest medical center between the Tappan Zee Bridge and Albany.


This position supports GHVHS Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Affiliates by providing tools and expertise in the areas of Organizational Development and Learning (ODL). This position supervises Od & L staff, plans, organizes, develops and delivers organizational development and learning services for ORMC and GHVHS affiliates. Implements or coordinates learning & development programs for all employees and leaders that contributes to improved change capability, quality services, team building, guest relations, efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness in the delivery of OD & L services.


Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Organizational Development., Human Resources Development, Adult Education or related degree. Graduate degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 years of adult Organizational Development and Learning experience, three years management experience. Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing learning and development programs, building and leading cross functional teams, possession of excellent client relationship skills, and communication skills in verbal, written and presentation formats. Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis and presentation graphics. Expertise must combine leadership development, organizational development, Training & Education and change management. Previous experience with cross company transformation initiatives.

Office facilities; frequent interaction with all levels of Medical Center staff, Catskill Regional staff and outside organizations .
