Plans, directs and evaluates promotional marketing initiatives aligned with the company goals. Provide integral program coordination between all Michaels marketing components to create a seamless program presentation to the consumer. Partners closely with Category Marketing, Digital Marketing, CRM, Store Operations, Pricing and Inventory Management to ensure timely program success.
Planning, directing, proofing and evaluating all promotional advertising & signing. This will include planning for seasonal and merchandise shifts. Will have responsibility for final sign off on Tab, Interactive Ad, Promotional Emails, Bagstuffers, Grand Openings, and other miscellaneous promotions.
Will be responsible for marketing promotional communication as well as maintaining marketing calendar. Manage strategic marketing calendar plans in collaboration with Marketing Management Team.
Manage the seamless implementation of promotional activities with partners such as IT, Store Operations, Pricing, Inventory Management and other partners in Marketing.
Strategically plan detailed promotional marketing programs that support Category Management.
Manage the development and presentation of program components to senior management and seamless implementation of programs across all Michaels customer touch points to include interpretation and providing results of programs with recommendations for improvement.

Solid MS office skills. Would be great if they have worked on a promotional system like Retek or Connect3

3-5+; retail management a plus
