Responsible for optimizing revenue for a multi-disciplinary, multi-clinic practice management organization through collaboration with the reveue cycle team in the Central Business Office and operational leaders. Leads processes to ensure key collaborations among Revenue Cycle Operations, Finance, and Compliance. Provides oversight of Coding Team, Charge Capture Team, Compliance Team, and Trainers/Educators. Responsible for all aspects of departmental charge capture processes to include timeliness, accuracy of demographic patient and guarantor information, accuracy and timeliness of charge posting, accuracy of coding assigned to charges, use and accuracy of modifiers assigned to charges at the point of charge capture, and the charge audit process. Responsible for ongoing and consistent education to individual departments, providers, and Coding staff with their charge capture processes, HealthSpan software, charge coding and charge use.

Minimum Requirements Four year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Information Services, or closely related field of study required. Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare including two to three years of management experience, experience implementing and maintaining coding, audit and reimbursement programs, and developing new programs that increase net revenues. RHIT, RHIA, or CCS-P certification required.
