At the direction of the Executive Director, the Manager of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for identifying and securing sponsors for the New Mexico Bowl. Scope will include setting the sales plan and strategy, the creation of marketing and sales materials along with tracking mechanisms to establish sales strategies, and then executing the sales plan.

Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies for the New Mexico Bowl Coordinate, develop, and sell local ticket packages Work in concert with bowl staff to fulfill sponsor needs Work with Charlotte office on reporting sales and recapping sales efforts Work with the bowl office on additional events as needed
A minimum of 2 years of experience selling sponsorships in the sporting event industry or related field Experience in a professional setting understanding sales, marketing, and business related decisions Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales environment Experience with executing marketing plans across multiple forms of media Knowledge of digital and social media as a marketing tool
Bachelor’s degree in business, sports marketing, or related field.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
