Plan, manage and evaluate work of staff, as well as make decisions regarding pay, performance management, employment and staffing.

Manage unit handling the reporting and tracking of state regulatory claim filings.

Respond to questions, concerns and information requests via telephone, a variety of issues from internal and external parties, to include claimants, insureds, brokers, claims personnel and vendors.

Develop and implement tools or processes to improve organizational performance and quality, increase work efficiency, and/or reduce costs within the unit. Promote a continuous process improvement culture.

Communicate and work closely with peer unit managers to ensure the highest level of performance within the unit, focusing on staff motivation and achieving unit goals and objectives.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred.

Five years experience in a insurance claims or compliance environment, including a minimum of 2 years recent management or supervisory experience.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills are a must.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

Knowledge of claims processes is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

Seeking Bi-lingual skills, but not required.
