Manager, Supply Chain in Norcross, GA to develop supply chain processes and systems to optimize customer service levels, inventory investment, capital investment, sales and profitability utilizing SQL Server Reporting Service and regression analysis. This includes inbound and outbound transportation, distribution operations, replenishment and overall supply chain integration with vendors and customers.
Responsible for project definition, estimation, planning, and resource allocation.
May have overall system support responsibility for specific areas of the business.
Perform fact based, data driven analysis, and modeling on significant amounts of data across all supply chain and customer service functions for purposes of turning it into actionable information.
Develop strategic and tactical cross-functional performance metrics.
Assist in process and technology development of new/existing distribution facilities including warehouse layout, material handling specifications, and system specifications.
Assist in analyzing inbound and outbound transportation expense to evaluate static and dynamic routing opportunities.
Implement quality and productivity improvement programs throughout the supply chain.
Demonstrates detailed knowledge of technical environments, database platforms, related tools, and utilities.
Responsible for investigating and resolving database issues.
Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, logistics, math, engineering, economics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as five years experience in supply chain, business process optimization or problem analysis and problem solving or, alternatively, a master's degree and one year experience as noted above. Experience must include: large data set analysis (data mining, cleansing, extraction and validation) utilizing MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 for database development and administration; SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning; XML and Web Services for system integration; SQL Server Reporting Service; .Net and C# programming and development; and data modeling and statistical analysis, including regression analysis. 25% travel within the U.S. Unisource is willing to accept a suitable combination of education, training and experience to satisfy the requirements.
