This position calls for an individual who has a proven history of success in direct sales, selling to national, Fortune 500 accounts. Must be passionate and action-oriented with an ability to think strategically and creatively. In addition, you must have the ability to focus on detailed implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue and account activations utilizing DIRECTV's unique programming solutions. This is achieved by penetrating national accounts by harnessing new partnerships and serving as a consultant who provides efficient and effective solutions via DIRECTV. It will be critical to possess a combination of strategic sales skills, marketing knowledge and technical aptitude.
Clients for this position include national bars and restaurants, gyms, hospitals, private offices, banks and other retail businesses and service providers. In addition you will build relationships with strategic partners to drive affinity relationships. Travel is at 75% or more.
To make your mark as Manager, National Accounts - Business/Private you will:
Achieve revenue and activation goals by serving as a sales and marketing consultant who identifies client objectives and then sells outcome-based programming solutions that deliver measurable success.
Develop a business plan that incorporates DIRECTV's continually evolving technology to increase client penetration and sales.
Build and manage relationships across multiple clients at senior levels of the organization.
Manage accounts by developing pricing, programming options, penetration expectations and promotions to maximize ROI with clients.
Successful candidates will have:
Five to eight years sales experience with consistent growth and quota achievement.
Strong knowledge of strategic selling.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface and sell at all levels of management including C-level management.
Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, vendors and business partners.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Budget management/ financial forecasting skills.
Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity.
Able to professionally perform multi-media sales presentations.
Industry experience a plus but not necessary.
Bachelors Degree preferred
Bilingual desirable; Spanish
Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
