The candidate selected for this opportunity will act as the procurement department's strategy leader. Accordingly, qualified applicants must demonstrate expertise with respect to all procurement concepts, policies and procedures. This position is responsible for evaluating change, improvement, lean processes and efficiency analysis, interacting with staff at all levels within the organization as well as vendors and physicians, establishing savings goals within the department and must manage/mentor all employees within the department. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of sourcing and purchasing experience in healthcare, as well as a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
