Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Management
Minimum 10 years experience in Program Management
Minimum 5 years experience in Management of Program Management
Minimum 10 years experience in Aerospace environment with specific experience in Hydraulic, Fuel or Pneumatic Components desired
Strong customer interface skills essential
Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings/specifications, Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals and contracts.
Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with customers and internal departments
Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
Ability to present information to senior management and customers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Experience working with SAP Project Systems is a plus
Responsible for the successful execution of all new development programs. Provide direction to the Program Management Staff to insure that their activities are consistent with the cost, schedule, technical and contractual requirements of the company. Development of systems to aid Program Management Department which allow for smooth completion of program activities consistent with company objectives and customer satisfaction.
Maintain technical baseline insuring that scope changes are identified and impact evaluated.
Monitor detail schedules and develop/execute recovery plans as needed
Review and monitor costs related to new product development programs
Act as main focal point with the customer to resolve problems related to new product development programs
Coordinate all activities between internal departments as it relates to new programs
Report to senior management status of all programs with complete go forward plans
Discuss/resolve all technical, schedule and cost issues with customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
