The eCommerce Site Marketing and Analytics Manager contributes to REI’s success by leading the planning and overall management of site marketing, product search, content search, content recommendations, testing, reporting, analytics and competition monitoring. These programs drive multi-channel traffic, conversion and sales, member acquisition and retention, and maintain the connection between REI and its members and customers. The combined efforts of this team result in delivering a consistent multi-channel marketing experience, which is applicable to the web space, and compliments REI’s larger marketing efforts, specifically around events and promotions.

This position works closely with the eCommerce Manager of Site Merchandising to ensure site marketing plans and efforts are integrated into the larger eCommerce Merchandising and Marketing business plan on a seasonal basis. This role is also responsible for creating a process to plan, execute and communicate marketing tactics across the REI.com web site in accordance with the appropriate brand experience. Team leadership, people management, coaching and development are an integral part of the role.

Qualifications:
5+ years strategic planning experience as part of eCommerce and or Marketing team.
3+ years direct supervisory experience of eCommerce team
3+ years web analytics experience including a solid understanding of web metrics, testing methodology and optimization strategies.
Demonstrated success establishing and implementing marketing and merchandising strategies and tactics on a web site for a multi-channel retailer.
Proven track record developing marketing plans that meet or exceed business goals.
Experience working with content management systems to update website pages.
BA in Business or Marketing preferred.
Experience in managing external vendors and partner relationships.
Experience in process management.
Excellent cross functional project management skills
Experience working with technical teams on feature development.
