The Position The Manager of Acquisition will be a vital member of our small, cohesive Marketing team. You will be responsible for managing all paid acquisition activities and develop cross channel influence, with particular focus on growing the ecommerce business. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Build monthly and annual customer acquisition targets by channel and segment and develop marketing programs to deliver on time and on budget Define and execute the acquisition marketing strategy using a portfolio of paid channels, including search, facebook, display, referrals, affiliates, Provide key input to unpaid / offline acquisition efforts (partnerships, PR, etc.) Design and lead site-side optimization and testing to increase initial purchase rate as well as to up-sell and cross-sell existing subscribers Manage the development of strong, compelling advertising creative Analyze campaign performance data and create internal reporting Skills you need to have: 4-5 years of experience managing acquisition/online/digital marketing Experience working with paid channels in an e-commerce or a subscription model business Experience managing budgets to plan Ability to manage agency and vendor partners in order to achieve your goals mastery of excel and comfort with building reports You... ...have the desire to work within an entrepreneurial environment where no job is too small ...have an entrepreneurial spirit and are an executor with willingness to push the envelope and try new things ...are an analytical and quantitative thinker with an understanding of which metrics help you make the best decisions for the business ...know how to partner with engineers and product managers to properly track your programs and optimize conversion funnels ...have a strong creative eye and an instinct for what the consumer will respond to ...have the ability to develop fresh, new, innovative ideas in online marketing Why Birchbox You ’ll work under complete transparency.
