The Manager of Adherence and Clinical Reporting will be responsible for working with members and physicians to insure that medications are managed in the most effective manner. This will be accomplished by combining CPR+ system functionality with current published national guidelines and with experience in specialty pharmaceuticals. The individual will work within a multidisciplinary team to help create and deliver value added programs for employers, payers and pharmaceutical manufacturers. It is the expectation that the individual work with information technology to create and update the reporting capabilities to support these programs. In this role the individual will be helping to define and demonstrate the value of adherence intervention in the retention and improved outcomes of patients. This position will also include reporting and documentation responsibilities, as well as supervision of the Adherence Advocate Associate(s). In addition to the above responsibilities, the individual will be responsible for performing initial and final prescription verifications and patient counseling as necessary. The individual will also assist the Director of Pharmacy Operations on management tasks as necessary.
Unrestricted registered pharmacist; PharmD preferred.
Three (3) years experience as a qualified health care professional; Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
Ability to counsel on the proper use of biologic medicines
Two (2) years experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Clinical knowledge of the health or social work needs for the population served.
Demonstrated ability to identify barriers to a successful care management path.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with physicians and other members of the health care team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CPR+ preferred.
Maintains confidentiality and uses only the minimum amount of protected health information (PHI) necessary to accomplish job related responsibilities.
