Responsible for managing and coordinating all activities involved in the administration of all contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders in accordance with Federal Regulations, the Stark Law, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, company
policy and procedure, and appropriate standard business practices. Will assist in the administration of a variety of contracts including professional service arrangements, managed care agreements, reference laboratory agreements and purchase orders.
Review all submissions and/or requests for contracts or contract modifications for completeness, compliance and accuracy.
Establish and implement review and approval protocols by contract type. This will require an understanding of the various types of contracts entered into by the Company.
Reviews executed contracts and accurately enter information regarding the contracts in a contract management database.
Monitor performance, expiration, renewal, funding and payments on assigned contracts. Notify management of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to the company.
Work with legal counsel to advise management on contractual rights and obligations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
3-5 year's experience in administering a contract management program
Previous experience in the healthcare industry required
Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory highly preferred
Proficient in MS office applications (Excel/Word)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
