The Manager of Health Services will oversee Hazelden, Oregon Health Services Department through management of nursing-related and health-care related multi-faceted health service systems. Serve as, or direct, Infection Control Officer responsibilities. Utilize sound clinical judgment, participate in the planning and management of health-care services specific to Newberg site, in conjunction with the organizational standards and health care/medication practices directives from the national teams. Partner with the Executive Director’s operational directives and the National Health Services health care objectives, while maintaining effective collaboration with the site specific Medical Director.
Oversee nursing and health care service to Hazelden patients in conjunction with organizational practices/policies/philosophies.
Participate in the planning process for clinical services as a member of the Hazelden Clinical Leadership Team. Maintain budgetary responsibility for the Health Services Department. Participate in Hazelden Foundation (Organizational) National Teams as requested. Ensure that all the health care services are meeting safety expectations for the patients and staff and are the best practices. Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Position requires a current RN license with five years med/surgical or acute care nursing experience. Two years experience in the addiction treatment desired. Previous supervisory experience required and two years freedom from abuse and criminal background check clearance.
