Responsible for the timely execution of risk-based Internal Audits, in accordance with the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards), as well as assist with other Internal Audit matters, special projects and investigations. Conduct risk assessment of assigned departments and/or processes in required timeline. Establish risk-based audit programs covering Information Technology (IT), regulatory compliance, operational, and finance / accounting risks; review suitability of internal control design; and determine compliance with policies and procedures. Communicate findings to senior management and provide appropriate recommendations to mitigate risk. Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls and prepare detailed reports on audit findings. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions. Examine records to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with laws and regulations. Examine and evaluate controls over financial and information systems to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
* Three years of Big4 risk-based Internal Audit experience required.
* Experience must include: thorough knowledge of the IIA Standards; performing Internal Audits in accordance with the Standards, of operational processes, regulatory compliance, IT and financials risks and controls; documenting process flows and Risk Control Matrices (RCM); assessing risk; evaluating controls; developing action plans for audit findings; and drafting comprehensive internal audit reports.
* CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or CPA also required.
