Manager of Marine Hotel Operations:|

We are seeking a Manager of Marine Hotel Operations with minimum 5-10 years of related experience in Hotel Management, preferably on cruise ships. The perfect candidate will be highly detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and exercise good judgment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage according to the six key principles: show well, the right delights, service wow, sails are up, destination engagement and magical moments.
Conduct weekly review of the guest voyage ratings (COB) with the Hotel Managers and develops action plans on how to address and improve guest ratings.
Manage all concessionaire relationships including spa, casino and photo services.
Monitor quality of services and guide enhancements to maximize both guest experience and revenue potential.
Support onboard retails sales management. Develop retail strategy and sales goals for shipboard retail outlets, monitor weekly sales reports and lead accordingly to reach goals.
Develop relevant and appropriate entertainment programming for the fleet.
Monitor guest feedback for quality assurance and improvement. Coordinate entertainment initiatives with contracted entertainment agencies, while monitoring those relationships and adjusting as necessary. Support onboard Guest Services and collaborate with shipboard Hotel Managers on their supervision. Collaborate with shoreside departments on various initiatives including onboard collateral.
Conduct regular shipboard visits to ensure continuity throughout the fleet, and continuous improvement.
Reviews company training manual to suggest changes on improving hotel operations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or a minimum of 5-10 years of related experience in Hotel Management, preferably on cruise ships.
Technical skills, analytical ability, sound judgment and operational focus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a highly diverse environment and able to execute operational imperatives in a swift and demanding environment.
Knowledge of Guest Service, Food and Beverage and Housekeeping departments.
Knowledge of United States Public Health (USPH) is an advantage.
Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word are essential.
Extensive travel required.
