The IT Manager of Network Infrastructure is responsible for leading the IT infrastructure team to design, implement and support day-to-day operation of complex voice, data, and security networks.
DUTIES
Hires, trains, and develops IT infrastructure staff.
Leads strategic activities related to network planning, engineering, architecture, and the development of technical standards and interface applications.
Collaborates with senior leaders and application support team to understand evolving network issues and researches and evaluates solutions to these needs. Recommends resources to maintain or expand as needed.
Plans and oversees implementation of new technologies and systems. Supervises installation and maintenance of telecommunications networks and computer hardware attached to these networks.
Establishes and maintains communication standards and network practices.
Stays abreast of industry developments, competitors, risks, trends, and strategic relationships related to network infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in MIS or related discipline from four-year college or university
Minimum 5 years in a network/infrastructure leadership position with direct reports
Knowledge and experience on network design
Knowledge and experience on security related policy and designs
Facilitate the input and output of team meetings
Knowledge of accepted industry best practices and related regulatory requirements.
People leadership skills including resolving conflict, coaching and developing others and promoting teamwork.
Experience developing strategic partnerships with internal and external clients and vendors.
