Scope of Role:|
The Manager of Phone Sales will be responsible for the day to day management of activities for a team of highly motivated, highly qualified phone sales associates whose goals are to sell into a variety of fleets with assets counts up to 25 units. The incumbent will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, North America as a staff level member of the sales team. Additionally, the incumbent will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the marketing team to ensure the flow of prequalified and nonqualified leads meet the objectives as set forth by Sales and Marketing Leadership. Lastly, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring each team member is performing at a consistent level per KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and that the is continuity in the overall market approach.

Recruit, hire, train and retain a highly motivated, energetic team of phone sales associates
Establish, monitor and measure specific KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for the team of phone sales associates
Manage as well as engage in the sales of Navman Wireless's product suite to any and all prospects with fleet sizes of 25 assets and below.
Work closely with marketing and the "Nuture Team" to ensure that leads are followed up on in a timely manner.
Ensure that any and all information/data is appropriately input into SalesForce.com in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Director of Field Sales to prevent internal conflict and ensure disputes are handled in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in and develop new internal processes to ensure the highest levels of performance within the sales group and across other functional areas as requested.
Ensure that all team members are representing Navman Wireless in a professional, ethical and respectable manner at all times.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2-5 years minimum experience as Manager of Phone/Inside Sales
2-3 years experience as phone/inside sales associate
Technical or Software Sales Background Preferred
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Prior experience using SalesForce.com or similar CRM databases
Highly motivated, self starter who is an independent thinker
Strong ability to close sales and lead others to do the same
Flexible and deployable mentality
